Images of the Nothing Phone 2a make it very clear that the phone is built in line with the company’s current design philosophy. But unlike the two other Nothing Phones, the Phone 2a has a dual-camera set up that is centred at the top of the phone. The horizontal placed dual camera setup gives the phone a new look, especially with the entire back panel seemingly designed around the camera unit.
What is powering the Nothing Phone 2a?
Nothing announced that the Phone 2a will run a “custom-built” Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor with up to 256 GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. The Dimensity 7200 Pro is an octa-core processor fabricated by TSMC using a 2nd Gen 4nm process with a peak CPU clock speed of 2.8 GHz and Arm Mali G610 MC4 GPU.

With just a few hours left for launch, here’s a rundown of the expected specifications. The Nothing Phone 2a is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The company has also confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 7200 Pro chip. At the back, the phone will feature a dual camera system with a 50 MP primary camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. The battery size is expected to be 5,000mAh.
