In an interaction with CNBC, Honor CEO George Zhao said, ‘Internally, we have this kind of solution, now we are working on that part, so in the future, you can have the Honor ring.’ Just like the Galaxy Ring, the Honor Ring will also be a fitness-related device with an emphasis on health. Honor already makes fitness bands and smartwatches, and the upcoming Honor Ring is likely to be marketed as an ecosystem product.
Not just that, Honor also produces computing devices like laptops and tablets, and the company has a wide range of products on offer. However, most of these products are limited to select markets. In India, Honor recently made a comeback and has launched two phones so far.
Honor got separated from Huawei back in 2020 after the US sanctions against the company. Since then, the company has been pushing cutting-edge consumer-electronics devices, which include foldable smartphones, and the company is also known for launching the thinnest foldable in the world — Honor Magic V2.
At the MWC 2024, the company announced several new products, including the Honor Magic 6 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with features like eye-tracking and on-device generative AI capabilities. The company also introduced the Honor Magic V2 RSR, a special edition foldable designed in collaboration with Porsche Design.
