Microsoft Word Flow keyboard’s for iOS has been officially launched and comes with an interesting feature of one-handed texting mode
If there was one thing really good about Windows 10 Mobile till now then it has to be its keyboard. But that equation is going to change completely today.
Microsoft has officially launched its Word Flow keyboard for iOS in the United States. The app which is only available in the US App Store shows how someone can make good use of Apple’s third-party keyboard APIs.

Microsoft’s Word Flow keyboard offers intelligent word prediction and will let users tap or swipe to type out words just like its Windows Phone variant. The keyboard was initially made available to beta testers before being made publicly available on the app store.
The Word Flow keyboard for iOS differs from its Windows variant. Firstly the keyboard background can be customised with your own image and there is also a new one-handed texting mode.
In the new mode, the keyboard can be turned into an arc shape and moved to the side. This allows for faster single handed typing especially on the larger iPhone 6 Plus or 6s Plus.
Microsoft had acquired popular third-party keyboard maker Swiftkey in February and had recently introduced hub keyboard for the iPhone. Under CEO Satya Nadella, Microsoft has been bringing some of its best app and services to other ecosystems.
With the introduction of Word Flow for iPhone, Microsoft could probably end up owning the space of virtual keyboards.
