Microsoft unveils new Deadpool themed Xbox controller: Here’s what it looks like

With just over a week left for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ to hit the theatres, Microsoft has launched a new Deadpool-themed Xbox controller with a twist. In a new post on the Xbox website, the tech giant said that it has teamed up with Deadpool to “design a custom Xbox Wireless Controller that everyone will want to get their hands on.”

The new Deadpool-themed Xbox controller not only comes with a textured feel that looks and feels like Deadpool’s suit but also features his perfectly round tush on the back. Aptly named ‘Cheeky Controller’, Microsoft says that it “channels Deadpool’s buns of steel in its firm (yet surprisingly comfortable) grip.”

Microsoft has decided not to sell the controller but instead is giving it away to just one person as part of a sweepstakes competition. The company says it will choose one lucky winner from the pool of social media users who share the sweepstakes post on X (previously Twitter).

This lucky winner will also get another Deadpool and Wolverine-themed Xbox controller, a Deadpool-themed Xbox Series X console and a Deadpool-themed stand for the console that features two katanas made from foam.

The sweepstakes started at 6:30 PM yesterday and will end at 8:00 AM on August 11. However, to enter the competition, you will need to be a legal resident in an Xbox Console support country or region and over 18 years of age.

Microsoft also said that the first 1,000 fans to purchase the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core from the Microsoft Store will be getting an exclusive Cable Guys Deadpool Controller Holder by EXG Pro, but it will only be available to those living in North America and Canada.
