Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will be in Mumbai on Thursday for Microsoft’s Future Unleashed event, easily the biggest event the technology giant has ever organised in India.
As part of the event, Nadella will meet industry leaders like Anand Mahindra, Chairman and MD, Mahindra & Mahindra, Shikha Sharma, MD & CEO of Axis Bank and Mukund Rajan of Tata Sons. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devender Fadnavis will also speak at the event.
“At the event, our CEO Satya Nadella will address and engage with industry stalwarts to envision how technology will empower the lives of a billion plus Indians,” said a note from Microsoft India. Nadella could also outline the company’s plans for India. He had earlier announced that Microsoft will be setting up local data centres in India.
Microsoft is showcasing technologies from smart cities to smart classrooms on the sidelines of the event.
