If you weren’t able to take advantage of Apple’s holiday sales, JioMart has unveiled a very lucrative deal. Originally priced at Rs 89,900, the iPhone 16 Plus is now available at Rs 65,990 on JioMart, a flat Rs 23,910 decrease from its retail price. The effective cost might drop to Rs 64,990 or even less with an exclusive bank offer and an exchange bonus, making it one of the most alluring iPhone offers of the year.
The recent JioMart listing states that the iPhone 16 Plus 128 GB model is available for Rs 65,990. Customers can receive an additional 5 per cent cashback (up to Rs 1,000) on EMI transactions using an SBI co-branded Platinum credit card, further lowering the price to Rs 64,990. Additionally, consumers can exchange their old smartphones for an extra discount based on the model and condition.
Although Apple did lower pricing for the whole iPhone 16 lineup with the release of the iPhone 17, the JioMart sale has significantly slashed the official store’s revised price of Rs 79,900.
The iPhone 16 Plus features a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, protected by Ceramic Shield glass. Powering its performance is Apple’s A18 chip, featuring a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, which is specifically engineered to handle the Apple Intelligence (AI) features in iOS 18. The chip also boasts an upgraded 16-core Neural Engine for machine learning tasks.
The dual-camera setup includes a 48-megapixel Main Fusion camera with OIS, 2x optical-quality telephoto zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera that supports macro photography and better low-light capture. A new Camera Control button provides tactile quick access to functions like zoom and photo capture. The device offers up to 27 hours of video playback. It is offered in an aluminium frame with IP68 water and dust resistance and comes in four colourways: black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine. Storage options range from 128GB to 512GB.
