Despite the recent tariff hike, mobile recharge plans in India from various telecom service providers remain among the most affordable in the world. With the latest plans, Airtel, Jio, and Vi have overhauled their offerings and now provide a wide range of choices for consumers. Monthly recharge plans are particularly popular, usually offering 28 days of validity along with unlimited calling, plenty of data, and messaging benefits.

Compared to quarterly or annual plans, monthly recharge plans are more pocket-friendly. Network providers like Jio and Airtel even offer unlimited 5G access with select plans.

Here are all the popular monthly recharge plans from Airtel, Jio, and Vi that are affordable and offer maximum benefits in 2024:

Jio Hero 5G Plan

Jio’s Hero 5G plan, priced at Rs 349, is currently the most affordable plan from the company that offers unlimited 5G access for 28 days. In addition, it provides 2 GB of 4G data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day.

Jio also has two additional monthly plans priced at Rs 399 and Rs 449, offering 2.5 GB and 3 GB of 4G data per day, respectively, along with unlimited 5G data. For those who need a plan primarily for calling, Jio offers a plan for Rs 189, which includes 2 GB of 4G data for the entire period.

Airtel Rs 379 Recharge Plan

To experience unlimited 5G on the Airtel network, users need to spend at least Rs 379 a month. This plan offers additional benefits such as 2 GB of 4G data per day and unlimited calling. Unlike Jio, this plan offers one month or 30 days of validity, meaning users who choose this plan only need to recharge 12 times a year, while Jio users who choose the Hero 5G plan have to recharge 13 times a year.

4G smartphone users can opt for Airtel’s Rs 299 plan, which offers 1 GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited calling. Those who need only calling benefits can choose the Rs 219 plan, which provides 3 GB of 4G data and unlimited calling for 30 days.

Vi Rs 349 Plan

Currently, Vi’s Rs 349 monthly recharge plan offers 1.5 GB of 4G data per day along with 3 GB of complimentary 4G data for the first three days, plus unlimited data during the night. The network provider has yet to launch 5G in the country; hence, there are no 5G data benefits. Users can also opt for the Rs 299 plan, which offers 1 GB of data per day for 28 days along with unlimited calling.
