iQOO 15 launched in India: Check price, specs, sale date and offer details

The newly launched iQOO 15 sports a 6.85-inch OLED screen with 2,600 nits of maximum brightness and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

iQOO has launched its latest flagship smartphone in India — the iQOO 15. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the new model succeeds last year’s iQOO 13 (review). For years, iQOO’s flagship phones have been geared towards gamers, but this year, the smartphone maker seems to be focusing on a well-rounded device to compete with other flagship devices like the recently launched OnePlus 15.

Running on Origin OS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box, iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch Samsung 2K M14 OLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of brightness in high brightness mode. iQOO 15 also features an improved vapour chamber cooling system and packs in the company’s SuperComputing Q44 chip, which helps optimise games.

On the back, you get a squircle-shaped large camera island that houses a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera alongside a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. You also get a 32MP selfie shooter with a 90-degree field of view and iQOO’s iconic RGB LED strip that lights up for notifications and other functions.

On the thermal side of things, the iQOO 15 features an 8K vapour chamber cooling system that might help compensate for the heat produced by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Like most flagships, it also has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. All of this is backed by a huge 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery that supports 100W wired, 40W wireless charging, along with reverse wired and bypass charging.

Available in two colourways – Legend (white finish with glass back) and Alpha (black with matte texture), the base variant of the iQOO 15 that comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 72,999, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB version can be purchased for Rs 79,999. The iQOO 15 is currently open for pre-booking and will go on sale starting December 1 on Amazon, iQOO’s official website and vivo exclusive stores.
