HP is shaking things up in the premium laptop space with the launch of their new Envy x360 14 models in India. These sleek aluminum clamshells pack a serious punch under the hood while flaunting a foldable 2-in-1 design that lets you use them as traditional laptops or tablets.

The headliner is the 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a taller 16:10 aspect ratio providing more vertical screen real estate. HP says it offers an 89.5% screen-to-body ratio and supports up to a 120Hz variable refresh rate. For entertainment, it’s IMAX Enhanced certified for an ultra-immersive viewing experience.

The Envy x360 14 is powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra chips and leverages AI acceleration from a dedicated Neural Processing Unit. According to HP, this NPU boosts battery life by up to 65% while enabling smart camera tracking, background blur, noise cancellation and other AI-powered features.

To take advantage of this dedicated NPU chip, the laptop features a Microsoft Copilot button on the keyboard to quickly launch the AI chatbot for functions like assisted search, content generation and more.

Despite the powerful processor, HP claims that the laptop lasts for up to 14.75 hours, which sounds excellent for a Windows laptop – we’ll just have to wait and see how it holds up in the real world though.

The laptops run Windows 11 and come with a dedicated key for Microsoft’s new Copilot AI assistant to help with web searches, writing tasks and more. Other intelligent capabilities include presence detection to lock the screen when you walk away and HP’s Studio Effects for smart video calling.

On the design front, the convertible chassis maxes out at just 1.4kg and includes a 5MP webcam with IR for face recognition login. Rounding out the premium experience are quad speakers tuned by Poly Studio and up to Wi-Fi 7 wireless.
