If you recently bought a new Realme smartphone, you might have noticed a feature where the phone scans each app that you sideload. Not just that, it even scans all the apps that you install from the Google Play Store. However, there is a way to disable app scanning on Realme smartphones running on Realme UI 4.
Do note that the Google Play Store has a built-in app scanner, which automatically checks all the apps that you install on any latest Android smartphone, so any other app scanners will not be necessary. However, if you want to sideload an app, this feature might come in handy, as it automatically scans all the apps that you might download from third-party websites.
Once disabled, the system will no longer scan apps for security. We have tried it on the recently launched Realme 11 Pro Plus, running on Realme UI 4, and it should work on any Realme phone or tablet running on Android 12 OS-based Realme UI 4.
Open Settings.
Select Apps.
Click on “App Management”.
Select “Show System Apps”.
Search for “Security Analyst”.
Click on disable and enter your phone passcode.
This will completely disable app scanning on Realme smartphones when you sideload or install an app from the Google Play Store.
