BenQ on Friday announced the launch of its GW2490 and GW2790 monitors that come with a 24-inch and 27-inch full HD IPS displays, respectively. They come with eye care features aimed at increasing productivity and comfort.
Both the monitors come with a 100 Hz refresh rate along with 99 per cent coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. They are also built with a compact space-saving design to make them fit seamlessly into any environment. The company emphasises its Brightness Intelligence Gen 2 eye-care feature which it says adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light conditions.
It also comes with BenQ’s Low Blue Light Plus and Flicker-Free technologies aimed at further reducing eye fatigue. Both monitors are TUV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free operation. Other features include e-paper mode, cooling mode, colour weakness mode, and RPF35 Eye-Safe 2.0, which is aimed at increasing eye comfort.

The monitors come with both HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 options and can be used to connect with multiple devices. A 5-way adjustable input hotkey can be used for instantly switching between customised display settings. The monitors will cost Rs 8,698 and Rs 11,498 respectively and will be available at the BenQ e-store, major ecommerce platforms and many IT retail stores.
