Apple’s Vision Pro took center stage at WWDC 2023. The futuristic mixed-reality headset from Apple is ahead of the curve and comprises technologies that no other VR platform offers. This has also given an idea to product design studios to imagine how a future iPhone, inspired by the Vision Pro, might look.

The latest concept of the Vision Pro-inspired iPhone by ADR Studio Design gives us an early glimpse of how the future iPhone model will be drastically different from the current offerings, which include a modern-looking camera island and a secondary display.

According to the ADR Studio Design, the future iPhone will continue to offer a premium glass sandwich design. However, instead of a flat frame, the designer has imagined a slightly curved frame, which should help the user grip the device comfortably. The phone continues to feature physical power buttons, and it even seems to have a programmable multi-function action button.

The one major distinctive feature of the future iPhone inspired by Vision Pro is the camera island, and one of the sensors is said to be a periscope telephoto lens featuring a liquid lens design. It is said that the future iPhone might offer 8x optical zoom and could also offer up to 8k video recording capability.

The camera island looks drastically different from the current setup and features a dual-camera system along with a microphone, LED flash unit, and, interestingly, a rectangular secondary display, similar to the one on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.

The imagined iPhone model is expected to feature a display with up to 2200 nits brightness, dual-chip processing, which includes the M2 processor, a USB Type-C port, support for MagSafe wireless charging, and more.

The iPhone design by ADR Studio Design looks super futuristic, and one might have to wait for at least a few years to see some of these features on a real iPhone. With all these technological advancements, an iPhone of this standard might cost a lot more than the current generation iPhone.
