Apple has officially launched its first 15-inch MacBook Air, which is also said to be one of the best 15-inch laptops in the world and is also the world’s thinnest 15-inch notebook with just 11.5mm thickness and weighs just 1.49 kg. Besides, the company also announced a new Mac Studio and the Mac Pro at WWDC 2023.
The base model of the new 15-inch MacBook Air with 8 GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 1,34,900 and will be available starting June 13, and the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air has received a price cut, which now retails for Rs 1,24,900 in India. The laptop is available in four colour options including midnight, starlight, silver, and space grey.

The laptop comes with a 15.3-inch liquid retina display with up to 500 nits of peak brightness. Just like the 13-inch MacBook Air, the 15-inch MacBook is also powered by the M2 processor and is said to be twice as fast as a best-selling Windows laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor. The new MacBook Air offers up to 8-core CPU, 10-core CPU, up to 2 TB of SSD-based storage, and 24 GB of unified memory. It also includes the same 1080p FaceTime web camera from the 13-inch model.
Just like the 13-inch model, the new 15-inch MacBook Air also comes with a fanless design, and according to the company, the laptop can offer up to 18 hours of battery life and it can be charged using the MagSafe or via the USB Type-C port and it also has a six-speaker setup with support for spatial audio.
