
After launching the White and Bamboo edition of the Mi Note, Xiaomi has showcased a new Black edition for the Mi Note smartphone. Pictures of the new Mi Note Black Edition were put up by the company on its Mi forum. The company had also launched a pink edition of the Xiaomi Mi Note.
In addition to this Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun in a Weibo post confirmed that the Mi Note Pro will be available starting May 6. It’s not clear if this will a flash sale or whether pre-orders will open on 6 May.
The Xiamo Mi Note has a 3000mAh 4.4V lithium-ion battery, Quick Charge 2.0 and this is a dual 4G SIM (micro/nano) smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has a 2560x1440p 2K Sharp/JDI screen which has a pixel density of 515 pixels per inch. It has a higher end 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 8-core processor, Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM along with 64GB ROM. It also supports LTE CAT 9 with download speed of up to 450Mbps.
Xiaomi will be holding an event in Delhi on 23 April. CEO and founder Lei Jun, president and co-founder Bin Lin and VP International Hugo Barra will be speaking at the event. The event which has a teaser titled ‘i is coming’ will take place in Delhi and Xiaomi has opened it up for fans as well.
