Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 CIVI in India on Wednesday. Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, it is one of the most affordable smartphones with Leica-tuned cameras.
The Xiaomi 14 CIVI features a 120Hz 6.55-inch, 1.5K curved AMOLED screen, with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The phone has a quad-curved design and comes with a metal frame. Xiaomi says it has designed the phone in a way it is comfortable to hold for longer periods in portrait and landscape modes.
The back of the phone has a round camera island that protrudes slightly. It packs a 50MP Light Fusion 800 Leica Summilux lens accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. It also happens to be one of the few phones in the market to come with a dual 32MP camera front-camera setup. All five camera sensors on the Xiaomi 14 CIVI support 4K video recording.
The smartphone comes with HyperOS, based on Android 14, out of the box, and offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. However, the main highlight is the triple rear camera setup. The Xiaomi 14 CIVI is powered by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, which the company claims can fully charge the phone in 40 minutes.
Available in three colourways – Cruise Blue, Matcha Green and Shadow Black, the base variant of the Xiaomi 14 CIVI that comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 42,999 whereas the 12GB RAM and 512GB version can be purchased for Rs 47,999.
The company is also offering Rs 3,000 off for ICICI Bank card holders, bringing the effective price down to Rs 39,999 for the base variant. If you pre-order the phone before June 19, Xiaomi is also giving away the Redmi Watch 3 Active worth Rs 2,999, for free, along with six months of 100GB Google One subscription and three months of free YouTube Premium membership.
