Sony has launched a new smartphone in its X-series called Xperia XA Ultra. The USP of the smartphone is its 16 MP front camera with Sony’s low-light sensors. Xperia XA Ultra is listed on the company’s global website, but the company hasn’t made an official announcement on its price and availability.
Sony Xperia XA Ultra features a 6-inch Full HD curved display. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor, with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The front camera is Xperia XA Ultra is 16MP, which features a Sony Exmor R sensor, front flash and OIS. Sony says that the camera is perfect for low light photography. Sony XA Ultra sports a 21.5MP camera with Exmor RS sensor, quick launch and hybrid AF.
Sony Xperia XA Ultra packs a 2,700 mah battery, which the company claims will provide up to 2-days of life from a single charge. Sony Xperia XA Ultra is a 4G-enabled smartphone and weighs 190 gm. It supports WiFi, A-GPS, WiFi Miracast, Bluetooth 4.1, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, NFC, DLNA and Micro-USB.
Sony has also listed a quick charger on its website, hinting at the fact that Xperia XA Ultra could support fast-charging. The smartphone will be available in white, black, and lime gold colour variants.
