Samsung has launched two new smartphones under its Galaxy A-series namely Galaxy A9s and Galaxy A6s at an event in China. During the event, the company also showcased a teaser for a completely bezel-less display smartphone dubbed Galaxy A8s, which might launch ahead of the company’s next year’s flagship the Galaxy S10.
According to the tipster Ice Universe to achieve the completely bezel-less display on Galaxy A8s, Samsung will be drilling a hole in the screen to fit in the front camera module. He also posted an image render showing where Samsung might end up putting the cut-out hole for the selfie camera.
Not much is known about the device as of now, we will have to wait and see if the device will feature a proper cutout for the camera module, or will the camera be integrated under the display. If the company goes on the route of putting an under the display camera module, they might turn it off during video playback, by turning on the display pixels on the cutout area.
