Samsung today unveiled the much anticipated Galaxy S24 FE alongside the Galaxy Tab S10 series. The South Korean tech giant’s latest Fan Edition device features a much bigger 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen than its predecessor.
However, unlike the Galaxy S23 FE (review), the new phone has no Snapdragon SoC variant but instead is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400e chipset, which the company addresses the Exynos 2400’s thermal issues using a much larger cooling chamber.
Featuring an aluminum frame with Corning Gorilla Victus+ screen protection, the Galaxy S24 FE has a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The new phone also comes with ProVisual Engine, which helps take better images in low light conditions using AI.
Just like the vanilla Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 FE comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, but Samsung says the RAM capacity does not affect the Galaxy AI performance. Similar to Samsung’s latest flagship phones, the Galaxy S24 FE comes with OneUI 6 based on Android 14 out of the box and will get 7 years of OS updates and security patches.
All of this is powered by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Samsung Galaxy S24 is available for pre-order in 3 colourways – Blue, Graphite and Mint. The base variant of the phone with 128GB storage costs Rs 59,999 while the 256GB version is priced at Rs 65,999.
Samsung is offering the 256GB version at the price of the 128GB variant for those who pre-book the device. You also get Samsung Care worth Rs 4,799 at just Rs 999 and No Cost EMI option up to 12 months with Samsung Finance+.
