OnePlus 6T vs OnePlus 6: Design and Display
OnePlus 6T sports an in-display fingerprint sensor or Screen Unlock, instead of a physical fingerprint sensor, which is a big change from the previous phone. This means the fingerprint sensor on OnePlus 6T will be embedded into the display unlike OnePlus 6, which has a rear-mounted fingerprint button. OnePlus claims OnePlus 6T has the fastest fingerprint sensor in the world, which can unlock the phone in 0.34 seconds.
Another big change is the display. First, the screen size is a bigger 6.41-inches than 6.28-inches on OnePlus 6. The AMOLED display has a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. OnePlus 6T has a screen aspect ratio of 19.5:9, while that on OnePlus 6 is 19:9. Finally, OnePlus 6T sports a smaller dewdrop notch design compared to a rectangular notch on its predecessor.
