Nothing, the London-based company known for its unique design and intuitive feature-packed Android skin, is reportedly working on a new phone, which might be the Nothing Phone (3).
A few days ago, Nothing CEO Carl Pei shared a post on X showing a Quick Settings panel redesign for the Nothing OS 3 and asked the community to give feedback on its looks. While nothing seems out of the ordinary at first sight, the phone in the post on X can be seen sporting an extra button on the right side just below the power button, which is said to be an iPhone-like Action button.
Even though it is still unclear what purpose the new button will serve, rumour has it the company will make it customisable and allow users to toggle certain functionalities like turning on the torch, launching an app or triggering AI chatbots like ChatGPT. With Nothing OS offering several customisation features, an Action button would fit right in the Nothing Phone (3).
As of now, not much is known about Nothing’s upcoming phone, but speculations suggest that the Nothing Phone (3) will be powered by Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which is an underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Nothing recently released the Nothing Ear and the Nothing Ear (a), two new wireless earbuds that offer ChatGPT integration. However, the functionality is only available if you connect these earbuds to a Nothing phone.
