The Nokia Camera app is now available on the Google Play Store. The new changelog, Nokia Camera v91.9.1133.80, has been listed (http://bit.ly/2AvcZ6d) with improvement to Dual Sight modes, besides the listing of fully integrating Google Lens and Google Motion features. The updated app, though, does not appear to be available for installation.

Dual Sight mode, unique to Nokia smartphones, allows a user to capture image/videos from both cameras simultaneously. On the interface of the Nokia Camera app, users can observe the view from both cameras in a split-screen format. The upcoming update will give users the ‘You Decide’ feature, to determine the camera they wish to shoot from first.

According to the feature’s description, a user will be able to freeze frame on the primary camera, whose view appears on the left, and set the frame from the other camera on the right.

In addition, Dual Sight will also be bundled with ‘Infinitely Adjust’ that will help maintain proportions of the camera inputs needed for photos/videos. Here, users can establish which camera he/she wants to rely on more, that accordingly adjusts the input, as well as output. As per the changelog, Dual Sight mode will be available on phones from Nokia 5.1 Plus onward. Images clicked through the Dual Sight mode are called ‘Bothies’.

The Play Store listing states that the latest Nokia Camera app will be compatible with phones running Android 8.0 Oreo and above.
