Motorola Moto Razr, the popular flip phone, might just make a comeback.
Moto Razr was a flip phone unrivaled in popularity, and a device everyone wanted. Moto Razr was the world’s most popular flip phone thanks to its ultra-slim phone. Motorola sold close to 130 million of these devices during the four year period of its availability. Now it looks like the Moto Razr could make a comeback.
Motorola Mobility has put out a video showcasing Moto Razr being used in a high school. Towards the end of the video, we see a date appear “June 9, 2016,” which has sparked speculation that the Moto Razr will launch at this date.
June 9 is also when Lenovo Tech World starts in San Francisco and given that Motorola is now owned by Lenovo, we might just see some big announcement from the company at the event.

Smartphones sure have moved on from the time of Moto Razr, but there’s still something about a flip phone that sounds very attractive to a lot of people.
We’ll have to wait and see if Moto will indeed go down the flip phone path once again.
