
Microsoft has launched its flagship Nokia Lumia 830 Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone ahead of IFA 2014 Berlin. Claiming it to be an affordable flagship, Microsoft boasts serious photographic prowess in the Nokia Lumia 830.
This premium polycarbonate and metal Lumia has a 5-inch ClearBlack display with Curved Gorilla 3.0 glass, and runs a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 16GB of memory, which is expandable by 128GB via microSD.
It comes pre-loaded Microsoft Office, Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim and 15GB of OneDrive storage.
The Lumia 830 mounts a10-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics at the back with Rich Recording, and the thinnest Optical Image Stabilization system. Microsoft is also looking forward to provide an over-the-air update of Lumia Camera which will deliver a quicker camera start-up time and shooting speeds, and adds new features such as Rich Capture and Moment Capture. The smartphone also comes with a 1 MP front facing camera with support for 720p video shooting.
