Micromax to launch new Canvas 4G phone with Android Lollipop today

After launching the flagship Canvas 5 smartphone recently, Micromax is all set to launch another budget 4G smartphone.

Micromax’s new Canvas 4G smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 8,000.

Micromax is all set to launch another budget Canvas 4G smartphone in India, soon after the launch of its new Canvas 5 smartphone. The company today sent out invites for its launch event at New Delhi on November 18.

The new Canvas 4G smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 8,000 and will compete with the likes of similar smartphones from Xiaomi, Lenovo, Coolpad and others.

Expecting more users to shift to 4G in the coming months with the launch of 4G services from Reliance Jio and Vodafone, Micromax will be launching more 4G-enabled smartphones under Rs 10,000.

The upcoming Canvas smartphone is expected to feature a spec sheet which is similar to other smartphones in this price range.
