Lava has announced new smartphone in its Atom series, Atom 2 at a price of Rs 4,949. Atom 2 is an entry level smartphone with a big screen designed for first time smartphone buyers.

Lava Iris Atom 2 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor paired with 512MB RAM. The smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera and a VGA camera at front.

The smartphone packs a 1750 mAh battery and is loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat, further upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop. Lava Iris Atom 2 comes with 8GB internal memory further expandable up to 32GB.

Lava Iris Atom 2 will be available in White and Black colour options across major retail stores and online platforms.
