Honor today launched two new mid-range smartphones – the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro in India. These phones have a unique-looking design and will be available for purchase starting July 20. From price to specs, here’s everything you need to know about Honor’s latest smartphones.
The Honor 200 boasts a 6.7-inch quad curved 120Hz AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,700 x 1,224 pixels and 4,000 nits peak brightness. On the other hand, the Honor 200 Pro packs a slightly larger 6.78-inch display which has the same resolution, refresh rate and brightness as the non-pro variant.
The Honor 200 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset while the Pro version comes with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 bundled with the company’s RS Enhanced Chip Honor C1+. These devices run on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 out of the box and offer up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Both the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro have a unique-looking camera island that houses a triple camera setup which consists of a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX856 telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide camera that also doubles up as a macro sensor.
The Honor 200 has a 50MP selfie shooter, but the Honor 200 Pro is one of the few phones to offer two front cameras (50MP + 2MP). Both phones are powered by a 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging. While the non-pro variant misses out on wireless charging, the Pro version has 66W wireless charging support.
The base variant of the Honor 200 that comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for Rs 34,999 whereas the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version costs Rs 39,999. On the other hand, the Honor 200 Pro is available in a single configuration – 12GB RAM and 512GB and is priced at Rs 57,999.
Both phones will be available for purchase starting July 20 on the Honor website and Amazon. As part of the Amazon Prime Day sale, the e-commerce platform is offering Rs 1,000 and Rs 8,000 instant discounts on the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro respectively. ICICI and SBI credit card holders also avail an additional discount of Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000 on the normal and Pro variants.
The company is also giving customers the option to grab Honor wireless earphones or the Honor Watch at no additional cost if they purchase the phone from select stores. Alternatively, you can also ask for a Rs 2,000 discount coupon.
