Google to launch two Nexus smartphones from LG and Huawei on September 29

LG Nexus 5X is expected to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p display while the Huawei Nexus 6P will have a bigger 5.7-inch QHD display.

At the September 29 launch event in San Francisco, Google might reportedly launch two Nexus smartphones- Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P- made by LG and Huawei respectively. After the Motorola-made Nexus 6 smartphone couldn’t attract the numbers it had expected, Gogole has fallen back to LG for the new Nexus 5X smartphone and have also partnered with Huawei for the bigger Nexus 6P smartphone.

According to reports, the new Nexus 5X might start at a price of $399 for the 16GB model and $449 for the 32GB version. This translates to around Rs 26,500 and Rs 32,999 respectively.

The upcoming LG Nexus 5X is expected to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p display along with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 CPU with 3GB RAM and 2700mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Huawei Nexus 6P will have a bigger 5.7-inch QHD display with a 3,500 mAh battery. It is claimed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU with 3GB of RAM. Both the devices are rumoured to run on the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
