Nexus 5X is the new Google Nexus smartphone along with the Nexus 6P. Google is rekindling its partnership with LG by reviving the most popular Nexus smartphone, Nexus 5 and has renamed it Nexus 5X.
Google has confirmed that Nexus 5X will start at Rs 31,900 in India and will available from mid-October.
Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch display with full HD resolution and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, the same chip now seen on LG’s flagship G4 smartphone.
The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and features same 12-megapixel camera with 1.55-micron pixels also seen on Nexus 6P. The rear camera is capable of shooting 4K videos and comes with USB Type-C for charging.

Nexus 5X supports Nexus Imprint and has rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. With Nexus imprint, the fingerprint scanner can recognise fingerprints in under 600ms and it evolves with time. The Nexus Imprint supports Google’s Android Pay service.
Google Nexus 5X comes with 2GB RAM and 2,700mAH battery. The device runs Android Marshmallow with new features like Google Now on Tap, Android Doze battery saving mode and redesigned lockscreen. The 16GB Nexus 5X starts at $379 in US and supports Google’s own Fi network.

The device is available for pre-order from Google Store starting today in US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Korea and Japan with shipments scheduled for the latter half of October.
