Computex 2015: Asus Zenfone Selfie with dual 13 mp cameras unveiled

The front camera also has a flash and Asus has launched Zenfone Selfie keeping in mind selfie-addicts.

Asus Zenfone Selfie, a smartphone with dual 13-megapixel cameras, has been launched at the ongoing Computex 2015 event in Taipei, Taiwan.

The Asus Zenfone Selfie runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, has a 5.5-inch Full HD 1920×1080 screen with a pixel density of 403 PPI. Zenfone Selfie comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to protect the screen from scratches and has anti-fingerprint coating.

Zenfone Selfie’s dimensions are 156.5 x 77.2 x 10.8 (WxDxH) and it weighs 170 g. Of course the biggest feature of the Zenfone Selfie is the front camera.

The front camera is 13 megapixels with Auto Focus and Wide View and rear camera is also a 13 megapixel one. The front camera also has a flash and Asus has launched this phone keeping in mind selfie-addicts.

The device comes in two RAM and memory space options. The processor is Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 615. In RAM there are two versions with 2GB and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. In storage space, it comes in a 16 and a 32 GB version. A microSD slot is supported with 64 GB as the limit.

This is a dual-SIM smartphone with Support for 2G/3G/4G on one SIM and Support for 2G on the other SIM. In terms of other connectivity options, it supports WLAN 802.11 b/g/n/ac, USB, Bluetooth V4.0 and also TDD LTE which means the phone should be a 4G-capable device when it launches in India.

The Zenfone Selfie has a 3000 mAh Li-Polymer. Sensors in the Zenfone Selfie are Accelerator, G-Sensor, E-Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity, Ambient Light Sensor and Hall Sensor.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes in the following colours: pure White, Pink, Blue, Gray, Gold and Red. The price and availability of the Zenfone Selfie has not yet been announced.
