Asus Fonepad 8 runs on a 1.33GHz 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3530 CPU and Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

Asus today announced its Fonepad 8 (FE380CG) in India at a price of Rs 13,999. The FonePad 8 sports an 8-inch tablet with dual-SIM, 3G phone functionality and runs on a 1.33GHz 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3530 processor.

Fonepad 8 features an 8-inch, 1280 x 800 IPS display and dual front speakers tuned with MaxxAudio. It has a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera with PixelMaster technology. Fonepad 8is available with 16GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded with up to 64GB of Micro SD Cardstorage.

It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery and claims to provide up to 12 hours of life. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Zen UI and is 8.9mm thin and weighs 310 grams. The tablet will be available in Black and Gold colour options.
