From Microsoft to Dell: All Snapdragon X Elite, X Plus-powered Copilot+ PCs launching in 2024

Here is a complete list of ARM-based Copilot+ PCs launching in 2024.

Microsoft announced its first set of Copilot+ branded PCs, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus chip ahead of its annual developer conference, happening today. Besides, several top personal computer brands such as Dell, Lenovo, and Asus also unveiled their solutions, based on the same chipset.

While some of these machines are already on pre-order, most of them will be available for purchase in markets like the US starting June 18, and these PCs will cost at least $999.

Here is a look at the new ARM-based Snapdragon X Elite and the Snapdragon X Plus powered Copilot+ PCs launching in the next few days:

Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Laptop

Microsoft has announced two new Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus powered laptops — Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop.

The Copilot+ variant of the Surface Laptop is available in two screen sizes — 13.8-inch and 15-inch with touch, both featuring either the new laptop chip from Qualcomm. The 15-inch variant claims to offer 22 hours of video playback on a single charge – the longest battery life ever reported on a Surface Laptop.

Other specifications of this machine include support for up to three 4K resolution external displays, a Copilot key, an FHD Surface Studio camera, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and up to 64 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Compared to the previous generation model, the new Surface Laptop is said to be up to 80 per cent faster.

Similarly, the new Surface Pro comes with a 13-inch display with an option for an OLED panel, a detachable keyboard, a quad-HD front-facing camera along with an ultra-HD rear-facing camera. It is said to offer up to 32 GB RAM and up to 1 TB storage. It also gets Wi-Fi 7 with optional 5G connectivity. On a single charge, the Surface Pro is said to offer up to 14 hours of video playback time.

Acer’s Swift 14 AI

Acer is calling its first Copilot+ PC the Swift 14 AI, a 14-inch laptop that weighs 1.36 kg and includes a 2.5K resolution touch display. Available in both Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus variants, this laptop will offer up to 32 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage.

ASUS Vivobook S 15

The Vivobook S 15 is Asus’s first Copilot+ PC, a 15-inch notebook with a 3K resolution OLED touch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company’s official website, this laptop can offer up to 18 hours of battery life (video playback) per charge. It also has a single zone RGB keyboard with a full array of I/O ports, including HDMI 2.1 port, microSD slot, USB-A ports, and more.

Dell XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, Inspiron 14, Latitude 7455 and Latitude 5455

Dell has introduced a slew of Copilot+ branded PCs, powered by the latest Qualcomm processors, with the Dell XPS 13 being the flagship model. The Dell XPS 13 is claimed to offer up to 27 hours of multi-day battery life, while the Inspiron 14 Plus comes with a QHD+ resolution display with up to 400 nits of peak brightness. Similarly, Dell has also introduced Latitude 7455 and the Latitude 5455 Copilot+ laptops as enterprise solutions.

HP OmniBook X and HP EliteBook Ultra

HP claims these are the world’s thinnest next-generation AI PCs, which can deliver up to 26 hours of battery life, and these are also the first set of PCs from the company to feature a new AI Helix Logo. The EliteBook Ultra even comes with a smudge-resistant Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating, and both variants include a 14-inch touch display.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6

Lenovo has also introduced two new Copilot+ PCs — Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor. The Yoga Slim 7x has a 14.5-inch 16:10 3K 90Hz 1000 nits peak brightness PureSight OLED touch panel, while the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, which is built for business can offer up to 64 GB of RAM and 5G connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge with Galaxy AI capabilities is based on the Snapdragon X Elite Compute Platform, and like the rest of the models, it offers up to 45 TOPS NPU AI computing power and claims to offer up to 22 hours of battery life along with support for super fast charging. Available in two sizes (14-inch and 16-inch), the Galaxy Book4 Edge offers a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with up to 120Hz refresh rate.

In the first phase, there will be at least 13 different Copilot+ PCs, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite and the Snapdragon X Plus processors. As of now, there is no official information on when these machines will launch in India.
