Titanfall 2 is releasing October 28, and those who have played the prequel to this game can understand the excitement surrounding it. There is exciting news for PlayStation players, as the game is not going to be an Xbox One exclusive like 'Titanfall' and will now support PlayStation 4 as well. The best news of all, Titanfall 2 will be freely available for 'technical test' for eight days leading up to the launch on August 29, allowing anyone with an Xbox One and PS4 to try it. For those who are not familiar with the game, Titanfall 2 is a first-person shooter type game in which players controls mechanical fighting exoskeleton suits call Titans. Players are free running foot soldiers who get these exoskeletons dropped down from above to fight the opponent team. The game brings in the ability for the player to parkour, use invisibility cloaking, zip-lining, wall-running and double jumping with a jetpack. The only available mode to play in Titanfall was the Online Multiplayer, with a few single player elements. The game will be available for testing from August 19-26. During these two weekends, anyone who owns either of the two consoles and has an Internet connection will be able to download and test the game. According to Mashable, the test game will feature only two maps in the first week - Homestead and Boomtow, and two modes of play - one an 8-on-8 death match and another called the Bounty Hunt. The second week of testing will introduce a new map called Forward Base Kodai, and a 6-on-6 Amped Hardpoint mode.
