(Image: Microsoft)Xbox Cloud Gaming India: Microsoft is expanding its Xbox cloud gaming service to India, allowing players to stream and play hundreds of titles directly from the cloud for a smoother, more seamless gameplay across devices, including Xbox consoles, PCs, handhelds, and mobile phones.
Xbox Cloud Gaming is also compatible with select LG and Samsung Smart TVs as well as Amazon Fire TV Sticks or Fire TV Cube, the Windows-maker said in a press note on Tuesday, November 11. India is the 29th country where Xbox Cloud Gaming is available.
A few of the titles available on Xbox Cloud Gaming are Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Detective Dotson, The Palace on the Hill, and Raji: An Ancient Epic. Players need to have a compatible Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, a high-speed internet connection and an Xbox Game Pass subscription in order to play these titles via the cloud gaming service.
“With Xbox Cloud Gaming, players have other benefits too, such as the ability to play games they own from the Stream your own game collection across supported devices, and connect to play with others from a shared library of games, whether they’re on the other side of the world or sitting right next to you,” Microsoft said.
“Dedicated support channels and in-app guidance make it easy for new players to jump in,” it added.
Follow these steps to get started on Xbox Cloud Gaming on your PC, phone, tablet, handheld, and most devices with access to a web browser:
– Use a supported browser like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari.
– Navigate to https://xbox.com/play.
– Sign into your Xbox Game Pass account.
– Connect a supported controller.
Controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4 controller are all compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming, as per the gaming giant. However, only some games support mouse and keyboard inputs on PC while a few other titles support touch controls on mobile devices.
In order to access Xbox Cloud Gaming via smart TVs, players will need to download and launch the Xbox app. To note, select models of Samsung TVs, LG TVs, and Amazon Fire TV devices currently support Xbox Cloud Gaming.
