
Sony has now entered the portable mobile projector space with the launch of MP-CL1 projector. The handheld project uses laser as its light source to project HD resolution images at 1920 x 720 pixels.
The projector also comes with a high-contrast ratio of 80,000:1 for accurate colour reproduction. The Sony MP-CL1 is a short throw type projector that can display a screen size of up to 120 inches at a distance of 3.45 metres.
Sony has been thoughtful by adding a built-in speaker to the projector. Sony’s MP-CL1 is also capable of projecting content from smartphones or tablets.
Sony MP-CL1 can connect to a source via HDMI or can be interfaced with a smartphone or tablet device via MHL. The Sony MP-CL1 mobile projector also supports built-in screen mirroring function which allows users to wirelessly mirror their smartphone contents via Wi-Fi.
Sony’s mobile projector MP-CL1 comes with 3,400mAh battery and weighs 210 grams. The short-throw mobile projector is priced at Rs 26,990.
