CES 2016: Huawei launches Jewel and Elegant smartwatches in collaboration with Swarovski

Huawei announced jewel versions of its premium smartwatches, that were launched in 2015.

Huawei announced jewel versions of its premium smartwatches, that were launched in 2015. The Huawei Watch Jewel and Elegant, unveiled at CES are aimed at women and has been launched in collaboration with Swarovski’s Gemstone Business.

The smartwatch is available in two options. The Jewel version features 68 Swarovski Zirconia put around rose gold-plated case, each measuring 1.5mm in size. Elegant edition has a knurled pattern effect around the rose gold-plated case.

    These come with Italian leather watch straps, available in pearl white and sapphire blue. Jewel and Elegant are pre-loaded with over 40 watch faces as on the original model, also including 10 exclusive feminine designs.

    The Huawei smartwatches have a scratch-proof sapphire crystal coating on their 44mm circular faces. These are powered by Android Wear and are both Android and iOS compatible. They also display alerts for calls, texts, instant messages and emails. They feature bluetooth connectivity that lets you connect wireless headphones and listen to offline music downloads.

    The Huawei smartwatches are capable of voice commands that can control music. They also come with heart rate sensor and 6-Axis motion sensor can track activities including walking, running and mountain climbing.
