Uncertainty persists over whether Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be conducting a victory parade in the city after winning the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). While it had earlier emerged that the parade had been cancelled, the Bengaluru traffic police has now stated that there remains no clarity on it and that it has “made preparations in case it happens”. Meanwhile, RCB themselves said on X that the parade will take place from 5pm IST to 6pm.

The Bengaluru traffic police had earlier said that there will be no victory parade and that the team will be feliciated at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in a function that will be held from 5pm to 6pm. According to the media advisory that was issued by RCB earlier in the day, the players were scheduled to visit Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Vidhana Soudha from 4pm to 5pm IST. It has to be noted that the chief minister later shared the same timing with the media while announcing that he will be felicitating the team.

The victory parade, according to RCB’s advisory, was scheduled to begin around 5pm or whenever he meeeitng with Siddaramaiah ended. It was to take along the route from the Vidhana Soudha to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on an open top bus. The team said that they will then arrive at the stadium at 6pm IST where there will be a “celebratory event with fans”.
