Jasprit Bumrah takes 3 while Gerald Coetzee takes 2. (PTI)IPL 2024 Most Wickets, Purple Cap Holder: There were no changes among the top-five in the purple cap race for IPL 2024. Mumbai Indians pair Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee rose up the Purple Cap standings after their match against Punjab Kings on Thursday.
Bumrah, who took 3 wickets leapfrogs Yuzvendra Chahal to top the charts while Coetzee comes into the 3rd position with his double strikes.
Meanwhile, Kagiso Rabada made his way into the Top 5 as well with his 1 wicket against MI while Delhi Capitals Khaleel Ahmed stays at 4th.

At number 3 came Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, also of the GT with 27 wickets in 17 matches and he was trailed by Mumbai Indians’ Piyush Chawla who took 22 wickets in 16 games. Rounding off the top 5 list was RR’s Chahal with 21 wickets in 14 matches.
