Winning their fifth game on the trot, RCB set up a potential knockout clash with Chennai Super Kings on May 18 in their final match of the league stage.
Earlier in the day, CSK went up to third in the IPL points table after their 5-wicket win against Rajasthan Royals, also strengthening their position in the Play-off race.
Kolkata Knight Riders beat Mumbai Indians by 18 runs to become the first team to qualify for the IPL 2024 Playoffs at the Eden Gardens on Saturday. While KKR secured their fourth consecutive win, MI lost their fourth game in five outings to remain ninth on the standings.
Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad are the other two teams in the top four. Meanwhile, Punjab Kings find themselves at the bottom of the table, already out from the Playoffs race.

RR, KKR, CSK and SRH are the four sides that are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first Qualifier with the winner going straight into the final. The Eliminator will be played between the teams who are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2024 standings. The winner of the Eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of Qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
