Lucknow Super Giants bowler Naveen ul Haq made headlines for his on-field tiff with Virat Kohli earlier this month. Since then, both cricketers as well as LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir have made cryptic posts on their social media which has kept the fans on their toes.

Now, in a video released by Lucknow Super Giants, Naveen is seen in a conversation with teammate Avesh Khan where they talked about the subject of sledging. Even the tweet that LSG put out accompanying the video appeared to be a dig at that infamous incident. “Avesh. Naveen. Too much fun 😂 Also, wait till 1.39 👀,” the tweet read.

“I don’t sledge someone upfront. It’s not my habit. There was an incident from a first-class game. I was on the non-striker’s end and the batter who was on strike got sledged. The fielder on the silly point was newly married and he said, ‘It’s the last wicket, let’s finish this quickly, I need to go home and finish some work, I just got married yesterday,” he said when asked about his favourite sledge on him or by him.

Avesh poked further saying that “This was the funny incident. Tell us about the serious one” to which Naveen replied, “There haven’t been any serious ones.”

A few days ago, Naveen, put out his cryptic Instagram story without naming Kohli. He posted another Instagram story just as MI were about to defeat RCB and posted one of the pictures eating mangoes especially moments after Kohli’s dismissal for 1 off 4 with the caption “Sweet mangoes”.

It all started after the infamous verbal spat between Gambhir and RCB’s Kohli during their game at Lucknow on May 3. Following RCB’s win in an emotionally-charged contest, Kohli and Naveen had to be separated after a conversation during handshakes. Naveen shook Kohli’s hand tightly, was not ready to let it go, and said something before the RCB batter shook it off.
