India vs Kazakhstan: India have already made the cut for the Super 4 at the Asia Cup in Rajgir, Bihar.
India vs Kazakhstan Live Score, Hockey match Today at Asia Cup 2025 Live Scorecard Updates: The Indian hockey team leads 15-0 in the fourth quarter against Kazakhstan in their final group stage game before the Super 4s at the ongoing Asia Cup in Rajgir. For India, Abhishek scored four goals while Sukhjeet Singh and Jugraj Singh have scored hat-tricks. Harmanpreet Singh, Amit Rohidas, Rajinder Singh, Sanjay and Dilpreet Singh have all scored one each for India!
India had huffed and puffed its way to two victories in their two games so far, defeating China and Japan in their first two games. It has been a toil in Rajgir for the Indian hockey team so far. As The Indian Express’ Mihir Vasavda wrote in his match analysis for India’s victory over Japan in the previous game, “India took off at the scorching speed of the Japanese Shinkansen. By the time they reached their destination, they were huffing and puffing like the good old Indian passenger train. They can blame it on the heat — at the 3 pm push-back, the weather apps suggested it ‘felt’ like 42 degrees Celsius. It was, however, Japan that made them sweat. The sharp, counter-attacking Japan that refused to be knocked out by the early blows, put up a stubborn fight and, despite the 2-3 loss, gave Craig Fulton’s India enough to ponder over before the serious business — the Super 4s round of the Asia Cup — that begins in a couple of days.”

India vs Kazakhstan, Hockey Live: Vinayakk Mohanarangan writes
This is a no-pressure match coming up for India in Rajgir. Quite possibly 10+ goals to be scored as they take on Kazakhstan, who have conceded 7 against Japan and 13 against China. Craig Fulton will presumably be hoping this match frees them up for Super 4s. Meanwhile, the Super 4s lineup is also complete. Malaysia topped Pool B with three wins out of three, Korea finished second.
So it will be India, China, Malaysia, Korea in the 2nd stage.

A thriller in Rajgir. In a straight shootout for a place in the Super 4s – the 2nd stage of the Asia Cup – Japan fight hard, come back from 0-2 down to make it 2-2. But it ends in heartbreak for them! China hold on for the draw and they reach Super 4s because of better goal difference. Finest of margins. The Japanese players are on their knees at the end. Joy for China, who join India in progressing from this Pool.

HOLA
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the hockey match between India and Kazakhstan, which will start shortly at Rajgir in Bihar.
The Indian team is currently on a two-match win streak in the tournament after beating China and Japan in consecutive games. They have also qualified for the Super 4s.
But they have toiled in the previous game against Japan. Can they give a more assured performance today?
Asia Cup: Why India remain far from impressive despite consecutive wins against China and Japan
Even though the scoreline was 3-1 in India’s favour, the match was a battle of equals as the stats showed — equal possession, India’s 10 shots on goal to Japan’s 9, but Japan with more penalty corners (9) to India’s 6. (Hockey India)
Despite the win, the Indian team was not celebrating. Player of the Match, Abhishek, expressed dissatisfaction with the team's performance, indicating that the victory was not as clean as they would have liked. The Japanese team, coached by Yoshihiro Anai, had planned a "defensively solid" game with counter-attacks, but India's early goals disrupted this strategy. The article suggests that India's struggle against Japan gives them "enough to ponder over" before the upcoming Super 4s round of the Asia Cup. (Read more from Mihir Vasavda)
