Harpreet to finish his quota with this over. And Stubbs with 2 to start. A single next and Rizvi smashes a 6!! That's what DC needed. A single next and Stubbs back on strike. And he finds a gap to get a four to ed.

Arshdeep to bowl the next one and starts with a single off the first couple of deliveries. Stubbs flicks the third delivery for a single next to get off the mark. Rizvi with a single as well as the flow of runs is stopped somewhat. Excellent over. Just 4 off thios one.

Brar back after the break and Nair and Rizvi with back to back singles to start. And Nair with a boundary to follow. A wide and a single follows. AND BOWLED!! Nair tries a slog sweep, goes to far across and the ball hits the target!!

Marco Jansen continues and Nair with a single to start. Followed up with a single by Rizvi as well. AAANND A SIX!! Nair absolutely nails the slower ball over mid off. 1 run next, followed by another. No ball now. And Rizvi smacks the fee hit for a SIX!!

Omarzai in the attack now and Rizvi pulls for a single. Nair with a single of his own next. Rizvi with an unorthodox shot that flies over the keeper to third man for a four!! Aand the next one is deliberate as he flicks the ball over cover point for a SIX!!

Marco Jansen back to bowl this over. in the last over, Nair had slammed Dube for four back to back boundaries. Starts with a wide and then a single by Rizvi. A review now by Punjab for a caught behind on nair. Only Inglis looked interested but he has convinced skipper Iyer to take it. And no bat involved. A review is lost. Just 4 from this one.

Praveen Dubey in the attack and he strikes!! Atal goes for a big hit again and Arshdeep Singh is undeaneath it and he takes it!! PBKS will breathe a sigh of relief.

Praveen Dubey introduced now. Atal gets off the mark with a single to start this one off. Nair returns the favour with a single of his own. Just 4 from the over.

DC 81/2 after 9 overs

Marco Jansen  will bowl the 8th and new man Atal to face him. A dot, follwed by a single as Nair is back on strike. He takes a single as well. And Atal swings for a SIX!!! That was massive!!! Follows up with 2 more. 12 off this one.

DC 78/2 after 8 overs

Brar will continue and Faf with 2 to start this one off. Follows that up with a single to put Karun Nair on strike. Nair started this match with a six off his first ball in the previous over. What can he do here? He pushes for a single now before Faf plays it straight into the hands of the backward point fielder!! That's another down.

Marco Jansen brought into the attack now and Faf with a single to start and Rahul slams a four in the following ball!! Almost gets caught but it's through Wadhera. AND HE'S GONE THE NEXT BALL!! Chips it straight at Shashank Singh and he makes no mistake.

Omarzai continues and Faf welcomes him with a six!! That has been struck over the square leg boundary. Takes a single next and Rahul with a cover drive to get another four!! On to his pads next and Rahul flicks it for a four to the backward square boundary!!

Arshdeep continues and starts with a short ball which Rahul swings and misses. Shout by the keeper for a caught behind but the bowler isn't interested. Takes a single next and Faf is on strike and the captain with a single as well. Good, tight over from Arshdeep.  But Rahul can't have that as he lifts the ball over the tp of the in field for 4!! Finishes it up with a drive for four more!!

Omarzai in the attack now and Rahul stays rooted in the spot for the first couple of deliveries. And Rahul smacks the next ball with a backfoot punch for a four through the covers. A single next and Faf can see this over off. And a dot to end.

Back live and KL Rahul and Faf du Plessis start the run chase. Arshdeep with the new ball. Starts with back to back dots as Rahul swings and misses the second delivery. Drives the next for a single and Faf is on strike. He digs out the next delivery and sneaks in a single. Rahul pulls next and gets a single as well and Faf finishes the over with a four!!

Mustafizur to bowl the last over and stoinis with a single to start this one. And Jansen swings and misses the next delivery. Excellent bowling by the Fizz. And he takes Jansen the next ball!! The South African gets an edge and Stubbs takes it. Brar is the new man in. He just needs to take a single so that Stoinis can finish this off with some big hits. And would you know it!!! Brar with a 6 of his own!!! A single next and Stoinis ends with 2 runs. Punjab end with 206/8

Now then, it's Mohit vs the man whose catch he dropped. And Stoinis punishes him with a six and a four off the first two deliveries!! Follows up with a slower ball to keep it down to a dot. And he messes it up with a no ball!! And Stoinis strikes the freebie for a four!! Reads it early, shuffles across and slams it. AND A SIX AGAIN!!!! Ufff!!! Stoinis looking ominous!! Pumped over long off!! 1 to end.

And another goes down in the same over as Kuldeep strikes again. Azmatullah Omarzai tries to go long and just plays it straight into the hands of Sameer Rizvi.

And that's followed with a four!! Stoinis looks to be in some mood here tonight. Faf goes off the field now. Looks like he hit his little finger trying to stop that boundary. Mustafizur back in the attack and Shashank with a single to start, followed by another by Iyer. And Shashank gets an outside edge and is gone!! Stubbs behind the wicket with the grab.

And an excellent try by nair in the deep but he can't prevent a six to end this over.But no, the umpires rule it as not a six.

Vipraj to finish his quota with this over and Shreays smacks the first ball over extra cover for a four!! Takes a single next and Shashank stabs for 2. A single next to put Iyer on strike but the PBKS skipper chips in with a single of his own. Good spell.

Mukesh Kumar to bowl his third and Wadhera moves across to swing but misses. A dot to start before the PBKS batter takes 2. AND HE'S GONE!! He had hit it straight up in the air and Faf takes the catch.

Mohit Sharma back in the attack and Shreyas with a single to start this one off. Wadhera returns the favour with a single of his own. And Iyer slams  a four to bring up Punjab's 100. A single next and Wadhera can see this over off. He takes a single to retain strike in the next over.

Vipraj Nigam continues after the break and yields 3 singles from the first three deliveries as the scoreboard keeps ticking along. 3 more from the remaining couple of deliveries. Excellent over.

Kuldeep in to bowl the next over and Iyer with a huge six to start this one off!!! Over long on it goes!! A single next and Wadhera will face his second delivery. And he sweeps for a four next and follows it up wit a brace. 14 from this one.

Vipraj continues and yields two singles from the first couple of deliveries. Another dot is followed by Prabhsimran's shot for a four!! AND HE'S GONE THE NEXT BALL!! Clean through and Viraj has taken out another set batter!!! The batter tries a ramp and that's just rattled the stumps!!!

Vipraj Nigam intrduced for the last over of the powerplay and Inglis welcomes him with a pull shot for a SIX!!! The next one is short and Inglis cuts for a four this time!! Lucky but he has been taking the chances. AND GONE!! Nigam bamboozles him and Stubbs stumps him!!

Mustafizur will continue and Prabhsimran takes over from Inglis and times a four off the very first ball!! Just placed through long off. A single off the 3rd ball now to put Inglis back on strike. Ohhh!! Almost another wicket as Prabhsimran's edge falls just short of Karun nair at the slips. And prabhsimran plays another loopy shot which falls just ahead of the fielder in the in-field. The PBKS batter living dangerously here. Inglis on strike and he pulls to get his first boundary of the evening. Raced to short fine. Another 4 to end the over.
