Royal Challengers Bengaluru were the table toppers at the end of a frantic Sunday in the IPL after they defeated the Delhi by six wickets to leap over Gujarat Titans into top spot. RCB boys Virat Kohli and Josh Hazlewood also led the individual races for the top run-scorer and the top wicket-taker in the season.

The day started with Mumbai Indians defeating the Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs to rack up their fifth win on the trot. For Mumbai, this has been a remarkable turnaround. One a few weeks ago, the five-time champions were second from bottom in the 10-team standings after winning just one game in their first five games. Not, thanks to a run of five wins in a row, Mumbai Indians are third in the standings.

Virat Kohli took home the Orange Cap after Sunday’s results. Kohli got to his half century off just 45 balls against Delhi before departing with the finish line within touching distance, departing after a well-made 51 runs. This is Kohli’s 6th half century of the season, four of which have now come in run chases.
