Team India pacer Arshdeep Singh in a chat with Shubman Gill revealed that he was bit under pressure to do well in front of their family members in the fourth T20I in Florida on Saturday.

Arshdeep ended the match with 3 for 38 and picked the wickets of Kyle Mayers and Brandon King in the powerplay and then removed a well set Shimron Hetmyer in the final over.

Speaking about the pitch, Arshdeep said he read the conditions quickly.

“I read the conditions quickly and realised that it is pretty flat. I bowled slower ones on my hard length,” he told Shubman Gill in a video posted by BCCI.tv.

Arshdeep’s father Darshan Singh and elder brother Akashdeep Singh was in stands in the fourth T20I against West Indies.

“It was pre-planned,” said Arshdeep.

“Father is in Canada to play some tournament. So he tagged along with my brother and came to USA to watch me play.

“There was a bit of extra support. There was pressure also to perform well in front of them,” he added.
