Tainted Rajasthan Royals cricketer Ankeet Chavan today tied the nuptial knot with fiancee Neha Sambari in a low-key ceremony here,here.
The 27-year old,an accused in the T20 spot-fixing scandal,married IT consultant Sambari,who was his girlfriend for eight years.
Left-arm spinner Chavan is currently suspended by the Cricket Board and was in the judicial custody after being arrested on the charges of spot-fixing.
He was given conditional bail by a Delhi court till June 6 for his marriage.
Rajasthan Royals players Chavan,Ajit Chandila and S Sreeshanth were arrested last month by the Delhi police for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in IPL matches.
