Top Uttarakhand BJP leaders to woo voters in UP

Khanduri is likely to address three rallies in Lucknow tomorrow.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri and other senior state BJP leaders will campaign for party candidates in the remaining phases of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election.

Khanduri is likely to address three rallies in Lucknow tomorrow to drum up support for BJP nominees. Top state BJP leaders Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Bhagat Singh Koshiyari are also camping in Uttar Pradesh.

“The demand of our state BJP leaders is very high and they are now in Uttar Pradesh to boost the party’s campaign,” a BJP spokesman said.

Five groups,comprising 100 to 150 workers,have also been formed to campaign in Uttar Pradesh,he said.

“These groups are led by leaders like Dhan Singh Rawat,Naresh Bansal,Jyoti Gairola and Mayank Gupta,” the spokesman said.
