The third week of the winter session of Parliament which begins Monday will see the BJP-led NDA government attempt to push through heavy legislative agenda, for which it needs the support of the Opposition parties.
The top priority of the government is the GST Bill, which the Congress has expressed its interest in passing provided the government concedes to its amendments. The BJP-led NDA government does not have a majority in the Upper House.
Among the seven bills listed in Rajya Sabha are the crucial Goods and Services Tax Bill and the Real Estate Bill.
