Oommen Chandy has no immoveable assets, cash in hand

Kerala Chief Minister and Congress candidate from Puthuppally Oommen Chandy has declared he has no immoveable assets while his moveable assets are worth Rs 3.21 lakh.

In his affidavit filed by him along with his nomination papers, Chandy said he has no cash in hand.

He has movable assets worth Rs 3,21,840 while his spouse and dependent have movable assets of Rs 32,85,000 and Rs 13,09,871 respectively.

Chandy doesn’t have any immovable assets but his spouse owns immovable assets worth Rs 75,00,000.

The Chief Minister’s total income in the year 2014-15 is Rs 3,42,230 while his spouse’s income is Rs 4,25,650.

Chandy, who doesn’t own a car, however, has 38 grams jewellery. His wife owns a 2010 model Maruti Swift Dzire car and 296 grams jewellery.

The Congress leader, who has no loan dues, has marked NIL against the columns enquiring about pending cases where charges have been framed by court and total number of pending cases where the courts have taken cognizance.
