Nitish Kumar lambasts Iman, hits out at Congress

Kumar was seeking votes for party candidate Mujaheed Alam contesting from Kochadhaman Assembly seat in the bypoll being held simultaneously with Parliamentary poll on April 24.

Kumar came down heavily on Congress for claiming credit for bringing a campus of AMU in Kisanganj.

“It’s Bihar government which provided land for AMU campus in Kisanganj…Congress has not even allocated money for the project so far,” he said.

Kumar had vented his anger against Congress when its chief Sonia Gandhi had come to lay foundation of the new campus here in January this year.

He had alleged that Congress-led UPA wanted to set up the campus in Katihar but changed it to Kisanganj only on his advice.
