BJP appoints five Parliamentary Party spokespersons

Days after BJP reconstituted its Parliamentary Party Executive Committee, it appointed five spokespersons for the Parliamentary Party comprising members from both the Houses, Tuesday. Party sources said Rajiv Pratap Rudy along with Anurag Thakur and Meenakshi Lekhi will be Parliamentary Party spokespersons from Lok Sabha.

Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and J P Nadda will be Parliamentary Party spokespersons from Rajya Sabha. The BJP Parliamentary Party met Tuesday. The meeting was presided over by Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley, with L K Advani and Venkaiah Naidu sharing the dais.

Jaitley is learnt to have apprised party MPs about the highlights of the Budget that members needed to communicate to the common public, sources said.
