IF THE nomination papers of RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s sons — Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav — are to be believed, then elder son Tej Pratap was born after Tejashwi.
Tejashwi, who submitted his poll affidavit on October 3 for Raghopur Assembly seat, has declared his age as 26 years. On the other hand, elder brother Tej Pratap, who submitted his nomination papers on Monday for Mahua seat, declared that he was 25 years old.

The Espncricinfo.com profile of Tejashwi, who played domestic cricket, states his date of birth as November 9, 1989.
A RJD spokesperson said that since the candidates have to use the data supplied by the Election Commission, both the brothers stated the age that was in the voters’ list. “If the age in the affidavits does not match that in the voters’ list, the nomination can be rejected,” said RJD’s Pragati Mehta.
